NATIONAL ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF REGGIO CALABRIA

The National archeological Museum, in the city of Reggio Calabria, has internationally renowned because of the permanent exposition of the famous Bronzi di Riace.

The intervention of AZA has been foundamental to create the perfect exposition ambient for this Italian jewels.

The rooftop of this area has been made with a particular glazed structure, the fixing and anchoring system in steel has been designed to create a solid but light construction that work as roof and also as floor. The transparency permit a perfect natural light filtration inside the roof garden and the insert in the overhead room creates a décor architectonic and a design element.
